Cookie Policy
How Kenko uses cookies on kenkohq.org and how you can control them.
Last updated: March 14, 2026
1. About This Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Kenko, Inc. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on kenkohq.org. It supplements the Privacy Policy. Kenko is a marketing and front-desk automation platform for boutique fitness studios, and this site serves both prospective and current studio owners.
2. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the Company to recognize your device across page loads, maintain your login session in the Kenko platform, store preferences, and measure how visitors use the site. The Company also uses related browser storage technologies such as localStorage (for example, to remember whether you have dismissed the cookie notice).
3. How We Use Cookies
The following table describes the cookie categories in use on kenkohq.org:
| Category | Examples and purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Login session token, CSRF protection, cookie-notice dismissal flag (localStorage) | Session to 12 months |
| Preferences | UI state preferences within the Kenko dashboard | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Anonymized page-view and feature-use counters used to improve the product; no cross-site tracking | Up to 13 months |
| Marketing | Not currently in use | N/A |
4. Notice and Choice
Because Kenko is a US-based service, the Company operates on a notice-only model: non-essential cookies may be set when you visit the site, and a notice banner informs you of this practice. You may dismiss the banner to acknowledge it, or configure your browser to block cookies at any time. You can also reopen the cookie notice using the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer.
5. Universal Opt-Out Signals
As required under California law (including the CPRA) and other applicable US state laws, the Company honors browser-transmitted opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control ("GPC"). When the Company detects a GPC signal from your browser, analytics initialization is suppressed for that browsing session on that device. This applies regardless of whether you have previously dismissed the cookie notice.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies may be set by third parties acting as the Company's service providers (for example, an analytics platform or a payment processor on checkout pages). The Company has data-processing agreements with such providers limiting their use of data to the services they provide on the Company's behalf. The Company does not permit third-party advertising networks to set cookies on kenkohq.org.
7. Managing Cookies
- Use the "Cookie preferences" link in the site footer to reopen the notice at any time.
- Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies; instructions for major browsers are at aboutcookies.org.
- Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the Kenko platform from functioning correctly (for example, you will not be able to stay logged in).
8. Changes and Contact
The Company may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any change. For questions, contact:
